I voted Granger as a starter. Even tho his team has been crappy he has been a force this season.
Basketball would be depressing without the warriors

if thats the case then philly and indiana wouldnt have allstars when clearly iggy and granger have been stellar this year and have clearly outshined most players in the east not named lebron, wade, or bosh. is there something wrong with philly and indiana not getting all stars? should dunleavy have been an all star last year because he had a stellar year? |

I made this thread asking who YOU think should be allstars, based on performance. Granger and Iguodala are definately top 12-15 players in the east

no dunleavy shouldnt have been an allstar last year because there were other players at his position that were clearly better. and this year i cant honestly say that paul pierce and joe johnson (players on winning teams) have played better than granger and iggy. my point isnt that indiana and philly should have allstars...my point is that granger and iggy should be allstars despite being on losing teams. Now that would be an interesting thread: who are the all-stars from losing teams? Al Jefferson certainly comes to mind - he has been a monster.

Chris Bosh, Danny Granger, Andre Iguodala. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

definitely all-star level, for sure. I might add Kevin Martin and Devin Harris to that list. Now that would be one helluva starting five! To Live is A Value Judgment - Albert Camus

The allstar game is biased by the fans and coaches. The coaches skew towards the players on winning teams and that isn't right either. It should be the players that have performed the best and guys like Granger and Al Jefferson are definately among the best 15 players in the nba right now ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

i think theres something rotten in denmark with the voting...
how does Bruce Bowen have 1,392,398 votes third behind Duncan and Amare. Who the hell is voting for Bowen into the all star game? is this a giant conspiracy? Anyone else think its funny Chris Paul got 1 million votes within 10 days to get the spot ahead of Tracy McGrady? |
There you go... The NBA All-Star game is a rigged voting event. China goes crazy on the computer and votes for Yao, which is understandable. What is crazy is Jianlian getting third place in voting in the forwards category. Exactly what has he done to show he's an all-star. He is currently a role player at best, nothing else. Coaches cater to all-star players on winning teams, not losing teams. They do not award all-stars on losing teams even though it is clear that that player is outperforming another player on the roster. Coaches can even be biased towards other players. Example... Baron Davis being left off because Byron Scott still has a grudge against Baron back in New Orleans. America isn't dumb. The NBA All-Star voting is determined by China, the NBA, and a bunch of elementary school kids. Plain and simple. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.
