"It’s tough to say as stand here in Phoenix that another crowd is the best crowd in the NBA, but Golden State definitely has the best fans in the NBA. They are just into the game the whole time. They really rallied us a couple of times for some wins with just their enthusiasm and never-quit mentality." I love you too Matt(no homo) |

Great to see Matt back in Oracle again. Nice to see old faces unless it's Dun.

Yay! It's funny 'cause I've watched Phoenix all year and even went to a Suns-Clippers game, so I've definitely seen Matt in the uniform. But seeing him in a Suns uniform IN Oracle was just strange. I was expecting him to come out and play for the Warriors.

Matt Barnes had 26 pts 10 rebounds and 7 assists on Sunday against the Lakers.

Yeah, he played his best game as a Sun against them. He did real well defensively on Kobe in the 4th making sure he didn't blow up on them. Good for him.

Reading what Gentry said about him was funny, he pretty much said that Matt drives him crazy, but you gotta take the good with the bad, and that's just Matt. Cracked me up.

Well, I can see why. Under 30 seconds left, Matt was handling the ball at the center of court dribbling out the clock. But there's one problem... Matt has no handles. Ariza stole and dunked it down. The Lakers were only down by 5 after that. The ball should of been in Barbosa's hands.
Then, of course... the ball went down to Shaq and then he kicked it out to Matt who basically, sealed the deal with the three he probably wouldn't of hit if this was a year ago. Like you said, just gotta take the good and the bad with him. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

i think the suns should start matt at PF while amare is injured. when nash comes back, barbosa should go back to being the spark off the bench and matt should start with hill at SF. barnes does well as a starter and flourishes in a fast paced game. when phoenix's bench comes in, the pace gets a little slower and more is asked of matt to show up with the other bench players not being scorers so much.
