Thought I'd make a thread for general talk about this season.

So far the Warriors are the best but it is interesting how it looks like a four team race right now, with San Antonio, Clippers and Cavs also doing very well.

The best player seems so far to be either Westbrook or Harden but both are on relatively losing teams. So good to have the team the Warriors have right now.

After just one month it can be seen which are the best teams. Looks like Warriors, Spurs, Clippers, Grizzlies and Rockets are above the rest and then the likes of OKC, Utah and Portland will go for the last playoff spots in the West. In the East Cavs and Raptors look like being 1 and 2 again. After that some seven teams are about 50% and some teams just below them so anything can happen.

It's looking very likely that Carmelo Anthony will be traded. Read small article that said Cleveland wants to get him but not trading any of their big three, with Love being the one the Knicks want. There is no way such a trade is feasible for New York, even with just Love for Carmelo, he is worth Love and Tristan Thompson I think. Likely he'll go West for someone like Cousins.

Cousins has been traded to NO for not much in return. The pairing of Cousins and ADavis to me is one of the best big man duo, talent wise at least, in nba history. Either this will work well or it will be a disaster. NO could become one of the best teams in the nba with this trade and if they work it smart they could look to get a FA or trade for a very good SG and they'd be definate championship caliber.

Hard to believe that the Kings FO traded him within the same conference. Cousins is one of the most talented players in the nba and sending him as far away as possible could have been the best choice.
