Kwame Brown likely out for the season

obviously this is no good for many reasons: he was usable, he could play against big bodies, and we we will have to see much of biedrins, which really sucks,
but truth is there are not much big bodies like bynum, howard, and as teams have smaller centers, i think udoh could take much of that burden on defense. also, this means more udoh/lee frontcourt, which to me is best warriors frontcourt. we'll see.
of course, now we need some other big, since beidrins can't be trusted and tyler is just too young.
for the meantime, it should mean more running and small ball with lee at center, which could produce same interesting basketball, depending on how dwright and rush play, and what coach jackson does.
without kwame we not only can, but must run and spread the floor.
get well, giant.

I was looking forward to seeing him match up against D. Howard... he is still young, hope he heals well.
He was getting better every game.

I saw enough of Brown that I would like to bring him back next year if we can get him for a bit cheaper.
Mayb $5million a year.
He is a great backup Center, I wouldn't want him as a starting center, but he has the bulk and defense needed to play bigs like Bynum and Howard. I don't see any better alternatives out there for C, unless we trade for someone... So we hold on to Beans and Brown for 2 years, and let Beans contract expire, then sign a starting C unless we manage to trade for one by then.

There are not a whole lot of quality centers in the FA, maybe they take a chance with the D-League?
There are a couple serviceable players there. Kwame was only getting 20 mins a game anyway, and we only need a big body when playing teams like Orlando, LA, and a couple other teams with big centers.
What happened to Keith Benson? I remember I wanted for Warriors to draft him, and if I recall Hawks took him, and I don't know what's happening with him now. I thought he would be good enough to play in his rookie season. Maybe he got injured...
