If he doesn't he will probably not coach He almost didn't coach this year. "Hard Work Beats Talent, When Talent Doesn't Work Hard"

Can you trade for a coach in the NBA like the Bucs did for Gruden in the NFL? If so lets trade Curry and some firsts for Greg Popovich.

Well I know he has been mentioned in this thread, so this link should be somewhat interesting:

I would pray for Sloan to be coach...otherwise, stick with Smart
This season is not a flop.

Rick Adleman is available, if we do get rid of Smart, hopefully it is only because we have something lined up with him.
Otherwise I think we should bring Smart back. http://www.nba.com/2011/news/04/18/rockets.adelman.ap/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpt2

I wouldn't mind Adelman. I would prefer him over Smart
|

Doubt Adleman would even think once about coming here, the way he left last time. He is credible and a proven winner as a coach, so I'd take him for sure

Like I said before, he would be my first option if I could choose, but somehow I'm thinking he won't be interested to come to Warriors again. But then again, who knows...

Bring Nelly out of retirement!!!!
Seriously - If not Adelman, bring Smart back for another year. |

I would love to see Mark Jackson as coach with Mario Ellie brought in as an assistant. I didnt see anything from Smart this year that would want me to have him coach the Warriors again next year. I really dont think Sloan is coming here and I would not want Adelman back. There are some promising young coaches out there and one of them, Jackson / Shaw would be awesome.

The reason Adelman is not continuing with Rockets is because they want to develop a new team based in new talent's and he is not interested in that. He want's to go to a team ready to claim the ring. That mean's he is not our guy. He don't want us, we dont want him.

I definitely don't want Smart to be our coach next season as well. I actually don't think we have a bad team, we are few pieces away from a PO team, and I think we can fix that for the next season. And an experienced coach could help a lot for our young team.
That's also a reason why I would like an experienced coach instead of a young and upcoming guys. ![]() ![]() |

A new and improved coach = 10 more wins than this year and a shot at the number 7 or 8 spot. So yeah, we need an experienced coach to head up our team next season.
