First and foremost he is an expire which could free up cap space at years end. At this point Beans is often injured, the bad offensive, the bad free-throw shooting, the foul issues, plus now I think Gadz and Udoh can provide the help needed at the Center position.
Not sure why the Griz would do it, since they have Gasol at Center already. |

More info would be nice, like a link. At 17.3 mill there would have to be other players involved not sure who else would be involved.
While Zach Randolph is a PF, not sure how he handles the Center position, plus his defense is nothing to applaud. |

Thanks for the link, am glad Riley wants to be active at the trade deadline because the warriors need certain pieces to be better.
Also saw warriors interested in Tayshaun Prince a player I was hoping we make a play at. |

Very good player but seems to sulk when he doesn't get the ball. Good rebounder when he is happy and scoring. Not sure how he an Monta will get along. Can score from both inside an out. What do you do with David Lee? They both have similar range an play the same position.

I agree that the Grizzlies already have a better, cheaper option in Marc Gasol so I don't see any reason why they would want to take on Biedrins' contract. They also have Hasheem Thabeet whom they haven't given up on yet. Gasol is also a free agent and you can bet that the Grizzlies will give him a nice sized extension so an expiring salary like Randolph is probably more valuable to them than an overpaid center with 3.5 years left on his contract.
The only player they would want is probably Monta Ellis which many fans won't be happy giving up. |

I dont see him coming to GS for Biedriens. Curry, Ellis or Lee must be in the trade to get ZBo. Randolph is a BEAST.
Would you guys do this? Mayo and Randolph for Ellis and Biedriens Mayo isn't playing very well, but if he can put up his 20+ points per game again the Warriors could be a dangerous team. PG: Curry SG: Mayo SF: Rello PF: Z-Bo C: Lee Probably the best scoring lineup in the NBA, but defense is still a concern.  |

The team is already bad defensively, it would be close to the worst one in the nba after such a trade. I want MGasol, he is much better than ZRand   migya make the ring fall on ya |

Even if Gasol came instead of Randolph Warriors would still be a bad defensive team regardless. Randolph IS the better player. Hes a better rebounder and scorer, Gasol would make the team a better defensive team but by how much? |

ZRand is playing very well and has for at least two straight seasons now, but he still can be a headcase and I wouldn't risk that here. He is also a fair bit older than MGasol. MGasol is a far better defender is bigger and is a good offensive player himself, when he gets the ball. Centers are harder to find than any other position, so getting a good one is very important and AB looked like being that, but isn't now. Defense is also very important and happens to be the weakest part of the team right now migya make the ring fall on ya |
