The Orlando Magic have completed a pair of blockbuster trades that will send them Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas and Hedo Turkoglu and Jason Richardson from the Phoenix Suns...
..the Magic sent guards Vince Carter and Mickael Pietrus, backup center Marcin Gortat, a 2011 first-round
pick and $3 million to the Phoenix Suns for Turkoglu and Richardson, sources said.
The Magic also completed a deal to send forward Rashard Lewis(notes) to the
Wizards for Arenas...
ok, technically Carter was not a Warrior, but they did draft him.

That's some crazy sh!t! And WTF Suns are going to do without Richardson?
Oh nvm, they got Carter. |

And Pietrus [not saying much] .. but more importantly they got Gortat (already added in fantasy) and a future first

I can see why Orlando made the move.
I can see why Washington made the trade. But what in the F'ing hell is Pheonix doing? This trade does not make them better. It loooks like they decided they made a mistake in the offseason and getting ready to rebuild. Turk was not working and they got rid of him. They got pietrus and Carter, carter is an expiring contract, but so was Richardson. The picked up pietrus, but I doubt he is going to have any key role, with Hill, dudely and childress playing the 3 already. I guess Dudely moves to the backup 2, behind Carter now. And they have Robin Lopez at starting C, so does Gortat come off the bench? Or does he start and lopez come off the bench? What about Fyre, where does he fit in. His true value was being a stretch 5, a center who could shoot. He is not as valuable as a stretch 4. There are a lot of those, and his height doesn't serve him as well there. Here is my guess, they are going to try and trade Childress, they are going to try and remove some of their long term contracts that aren't working, and he is 5 years on his contract, including this year.
