It was good to see Lin really looking confident, playing fast and being productive. He will be really valuable if he can spell Curry and Ellis, especially if Ellis is hurt for awhile. Back-up point is such an important position. Lin was successful at upping the tempo which made for a better game and a win. Ellis is one of the best players in the league, but he really does slow it down too much at times.
And B.Wright, kind of a lost soul out there sure did a nice job rebounding and blocking shots, made a couple as well. Very nice. Udoh will be a force when he comes back so Wright had better make himself valuable now so Smart will still use him.
Lin & B.Wright tonight

If Lin had a really good first half, he had the polar opposite the second. Just looked lost again and was pulled in like 5 plays in the second half... Got to put it together when ur out there young buck... You get absolutely ZERO offense from Lin right now other than fast break assists. |

I wondered why Lin was put in so early since he didn't play much previously. Just read ESPN and they said it was Asian Heritage night and many Chinese reporters were at the game. Smart realized that and it all worked out. Luckily Lin did well. It would not have been good if he really sucked that night!
