Rank em and where do we fit in? will the Ellis/Curry/Lee trifecta carry us to a playoff seed?
Next year,
1.Lakers-won title
2.Mavs-might add big al
3.Nuggets-coach comes back, emotions can be high and carry them ( they also can fall down)
4.Blazers- if healthy
5.Thunder- another year for the core
6.Spurs- huge upgrade at center this off season
7.Rockets-if healthy
8.Suns-lost amare, gets turk...
9.Utah- lost boozer and maybe wes.
10.Clippers- they might get even higher if gellin and healthy. ( blake griffin vs john wall for ROY)
then the rest... not ranked
Warriors- will be a good team, 40+ wins i hope, but I still see our defense killing us.
Kings- their PF needs a few years. and ROY 09 will get better
Hornets- Cp3's health, good off the bench guard unit, but the franchise is trying to save money... sad
Memphis- they will be an good team, 40+ wins again. Gasol/mayo/gay/zbo
Timberwolves- Lol... but they do have Love/beasley which is nice, but doesn't look like their core will ever be a playoff core. Even with Kahn still stocking picks, and the triangle offense.... They got Rubio (who i think isn't going to be too good), and they are running the 1 offense that doesn't require the a great passing point guard.

lol might have jumped the gun too early, doubt we will make any other major moves. Might resign CJ or use the trade exception. I believe they will pocket the money saved off of morrow.

every summer, I do hope..... even though i didn't even list them as a playoff team...

If Biedrins can grab 12 boards a night, we're in the playoffs.

No love for memphis? I think they're the underdog this upcoming season.Thunder could go far. If clippers, blazers, and rockets get their roster healthy, they can take some spots in the playoffs.

I could say that to any team including the warriors but those 3 teams would have a formidable starting lineup that could match up with west powerhouses.

NO. We couldn't play defense to save our lives. I don't know if I heard this correctly but last year we had the worst defense in nba history..in terms of points allowed? don't entirely blame this team but this flawed system. anyhow, I don't see new ownership bringing much change this upcoming season.

the way i see it- we will be competitive, and strongly so. does that mean playooffs? no. but so no one except lakers can be 100 percent sure. i hope for a stunning season. of course, i'm not from cisco and don't buy tickets, so it means little.
