For a playoff run, I might rather have Barnes with a two year contract as a natural and gritty 3. If we sign this crazy contract I guess Ellis on the move. That is a lot of money for a non-starter 2 guard.

4 Million a year is not a crazy contract. Morrow is a dead-eye shooter and he has room to expand his game. I say match.

If they don't match the offer and he goes to the Nets... that's it...

I'll have to change it to simply Money....

a homage to his little journey up into the stands one evening with a gentleman by the name of Sir Ron Artest.

would be interested in seeing if this offer is front loaded. Given we have no cap room and NJ has virutally unlimited, it would not suprise me to have this front loaded with say 5 mil in 1st season. If that is the case, I think he is gone. If we matched, we would be about 5 milliion away from the luxury tax line with still 3-4 more players needing to be signed

Damn, not sure what to think about him leaving. I don't think the W's are gonna match it.
