so... who would the warriors give up to get ariza and battier? ariza always played well offensively against the warriors but c'mon, who didnt? i like battier and his defensive toughness.

as far as marvin williams is concerned i've already put my thoughts on that in the trade section titled "marvin."

Let's go after Ariza and Battier hard! But I donn't see why the Rockets wanna trade them

No way to Ariza - Rockets are generally a smart team, and this is a sign they know they screwed up when they gave him the long contract last year and that they want to get out of it (kinda like W's & Mags). Ariza makes Stephen Jackson look like a reliable shooter.

The only way Ariza would be close to decent on the W's is if he knew he was getting paid to play D & that others on the team were getting paid to score.

I don't want the current management ( Riley and Cohan ) making any roster decisions... But I'd be cool with them trading for expiring contracts and draft picks ( nothing else )...

New ownership! Where are you?!

I like the idea of going after Marvin Williams. He can be a good fit with this squad. The question is who do we give up for him?

An Andris Biedrins for Smith and Martin won't work. You're talking about giving up $9M to get back $23M which isn't even close to matching. It would have to be Smith and someone like Chris Anderson which is a trade I would pass on.

I'd give up Andris Biedrins for Marvin Williams and Jeff Teague. Williams becomes the SF and Teague the back up to Curry.

Then a Monta Ellis and Anthony Randolph to the Wolves for Al Jefferson.

Line up:

PG Steph Curry - Jeff Teague
SG Reggie Williams - Charlie Bell
SF Marvin Williams - Kelenna Azubuike - Vladimir Radmanovic
PF Al Jefferson - Brandan Wright - Epke Udoh
C Ronnie Turiaf - Dan Gadzuric - Epke Udoh
