When forced to go right, his points per possession were in the 0.3 range which is downright TERRIBLE and he turned it over 33% of those possessions.

Additionaly he shot more jumpers than every draft eligible centers but two and only made 25% of those.

Woulda rather had Patterson than either of them at this point after looking further into each prospect. Still, Gordon was made for us. Right their in our laps and we said no. We'll regret it, mark my words.

yeah I like Patterson too. I was hoping for 1) Monroe 2) Patterson. I'm thinking starting lineup potential - who can be a starter for 10+ yrs. I like those other guys' chance to crack the starting lineup over Udoh.

I am very disappointed, but I am less disappointed with the Udoh pick then I am with the fact that we made NO other moves today. We need to make some serious changes, and we need to make them now.

So whats really going on... is anybody here really excited about next season? Our roster isn't designed to win as is and a new owner can only do so much... we're at least talking 2 years before becoming competetive with a working system.
Just hope these crazy two years don't scare off Curry. But man two years wasted on this crazy system is tough.

I don't think you'll find a Dubs fan excited about next year. We're excited about finally having a new owner... but, as you say, it will take some time, probably more than two years, to really be back as a playoff contender.
