Sorry to be rude but I speak my mind and everyone on here knows that...............but the above is one of the dumbest posts Ive ever read.

Why are we on this forum if a championship is so far away?..........your words..............my words = because we are fans...........real fans, whove been here since before Baron, for all the crap years and will still be here when/if we dont win a championship or less..............why would you even ask that? does supporting a sports team mean you have to be a blindly optimistic idiot, who ignores all facts about the team and sport you are supporting?

By your rationale, you were saying that we were going to win a championship 4 years ago? 5 years ago? 2 years ago?...............because thats basically your point................awful awful post, both from a grammer, punctuation and content perspective.

Way to make friends, there, Bigs.

I dont have enough time for the friends I already have...............so I dont have time for people who talk like that............thats me, love me or leave me.

Also.................if I joined this board yesterday, then I would be the one trying to make friends..............

It is easier to insult when you know only 1% will come after you, rather than the 80%.

Well I would hope that 100% of members with a brain would come after someone who makes a comment like that..............but hey, thats just me fighting for fairness/equality/consistency again.............silly me. ............also, a little respect for a long time member and internet friend to alot of you..............anyone got my back?

Although I suppose if the Warriors did win a title then wed be WORLD champions right?

We don't win a championship until Brandan Wright becomes one of the top 15 players in the league (which in my opinion will probably happen in a couple years). It's really as simple as that; Monta is going to be a superstar, Baron will still play at this level for a few more years, Biedrins will become that much more consistent, everything is looking good for the Warriors now and down the road. I think we will win one, it just depends on the development of our young talent. Brandan Wright is key key key

To be a championship team you need to be fortunate, a top 5 team (in opponent shooting percentage) and have a legit low post game (the last 9 years won with Duncan, Shaq and Rasheed) thats it. Given the fact that to get a Shaq (in his prime) or Duncan type is so rare and/or fixed the McHale, Logo gifts to Boston and Fakers, producing a team that can win 50+ regular season games and win a playoff series or two is a more realistic expectation. Only the Spurs, Jazz, and Warriors have recent playoff success (Phoenix too, but who knows how they will regroup post Shaq) so even the mighty Lakers look like a so-so bet (a recent loss to Portland and a close game at home to the Mavs.) It seems the new rule change favors slashers (the King, D-Wade, Kobe, Rip, Ellis) over the traditional banging post players like Shaq, Curry, Duncan and Randolph so we don't need a low post specialist besides the one we have in Wright, who is cheap, coachable and without the huge contract (yet). If we can knock out another number one seed (Spurs or Fakers) will do, it will go down Warrior legend (even if we don't win a championship). I do like our chances better than any other 8th seed in the history of the league.

No not 15, 5 and 5 is pushing it. Go look at every team that has won a championship aside from the pistons. Duncan, Wade, Shaq, MJ, Hakeem, Isiah, Bird, Magic, Dr. J, etc. Isiah might not be a top 5 player but everyone else on the list certaintly was.

I believe we have now won 17 of our last 22 games and quietly we are starting to play better defense - and this is without Biedrins in the lineup. When he gets back it will be interesting to see how Nellie distributes minutes between Wright/Croshere/Biedrins/Webber who are obviously are the big men who are going to dictate how far we go in the playoffs.
