We changed it to picking the coaches last because it was better that way, as then you can pick the coach that fits your team better.

You can pick Nelson to coach your team, if it is small, but he doesn't have much success in the playoffs remember, maybe showing he can't step up his coaching on the big stage

What I believe TMC was trying to say is why are we having coaches picked in the order of the first round and not the second round (like we did last year)? Since if we have coaches picked in the order of the first round it means people who got the best positions for picks will also get the best coaches.

Well I've listed that coaches are picked in the same order as the first round because there are twelve rounds of playing picking so it evens out

Overall though the people who pick earlier have the better picks because the first round is better than the second round, third round is better than the fourth round, and so on.

We can have a vote, nothing wrong with that

what TMC and Pest are saying makes sense to me, or we could randomly generate an order for coaches...I've got my eye on Isiah 8)

Ok, then I vote for reverse order. I like to give that advantage for those that had back luck on the randomized order.

As for my pick, I need help inside and, for some reason, this guy is still available:

I'm going with one of the best SGs of his era and defenders as well.

Joe Dumars

NBA champion (1989, 1990);
NBA Finals MVP (1989);
Six-time NBA All-Star;
All-NBA Second Team (1993);
All-NBA Third Team (1990, '91);
All-Defensive First Team (1989, 1990, '92, '93);
All-Defensive Second Team (1991)

Since Mcadoo can play an outside game, I need some inside toughness and boards, so I will take Elton Brand

i vote for reverse order...so that i can get my coach :mrgreen:

but also cuz i think that it's only fair...otherwise the first person gets a chance at getting the best player AND best coach. its only logical to reverse it.

So far TMC, Pest and EMan vote for inverse order in choosing coaches and I do to so that's a majority vote. I'll change it on the first post so everyone knows the order for picking coaches

I'm going to help my frontcourt out a little more at PF/C. So...

Wes Unseld as backup PG, for defense and rebounding purposes,

and Amare Stoudemire at PF/C, for offensive purposes.

My backcourt is slowly rounding out, with a good mix of offense and defense (although there aren't any legends among legends).

Wes Unseld was such a great point guard....

Great picks, those were my next two picks.

For a PG, he really was one of the better rebounders. Very tall for the position too.
