I remember a few years ago, they had it in the practice gym, and the players were just all hanging out around the gym, and there was a stage in the center, and there was food. Not terribly crowded. Another thing that annoyed me about this one was that you couldn't get anything autographed, it had to be that picture (no All Star 2000 ball  )

This is why the Warriors will win:

LA Clippers have a tough schedule up ahead with 4 more back to backs with teams like Mavs, Suns, Lakers, Denver left. In the final stretch they will have to play 7 games within 9 days, honestly; that is way too much. Cassell and Livingston out.

I agree. Maybe it will be the Hornets that put up the real fight. Winning against the Suns will only make it easier on the team

I'd say the Hornets are pretty much out of it, unless they get really really hot. The Clips tough schedule ("density" of games) is real significant because their lack of players will cause them to get tired quick in games, and on the road.

Well the Hornets could go on a streak themselves and they are close to full strength with Peja supposedly coming back very soon. The Clippers themselves are winning the games and coming through in the clutch

The Hornets pushed back Peja's comeback a bit further. They thought he'd be back very soon, but instead he may be gone and may not return 'til the last few games.

The Hornets should be out, too. They still have a chance, but they also should win almost every game to get into. The Clips are our rival... with a chance the Nuggets become one if the keep losing.

Yea, I read that a few hours ago. That is a blow to them because Pejs would have added the outside shooter they needed to have a shot. They pretty much are out of it but you never know, they overachieve with what they have anyway

They were predicted after the all-star break to have the best shot at the last spot. A 2:1 chance. Warriors having the 13:1 chance, while the Clips had a 7:1 chance. Honestly, I can see both the Clips and Nuggets falling out and both the Warriors and Hornets taking over. But the Hornets have such a tough schedule over the next stretch of games. And with the Clips on the run, you can only hope now that they Mags or the rest of the Clipper team goes cold or the Nuggets continue to lose.

The way the Clippers are stepping up, it doesn't look like they will falter from here on out but you never know. The team just has to win their games

Jason Hart's been playing well in Cassell's place... but having both Cassell and Mags out is going to be tough for them. Their schedule ain't exactly easy.

They play more playoff teams than we do so right there the level of competition is higher for them. If they make it, they would have earned it
