Well ... let's see ... according to Warrior's play by play TV announcers the Warrior's
apparently don't believe in fouling with a three point lead and three seconds left. 'Nor, apparently, do they believe ... in making free throws. ... and when they do ...
Anything you can do once, you can do twice and then over and over and over. Last edited by SoCooLBob on Mon Feb 27, 2006 11:27 pm, edited 4 times in total.

Favorite Free Throw Shooter ...
My Current Favorite would be Deb Remmerde ... the new consecutive free throw record holder. Second Favorite would be Rick Barry. I will, until the world changes, forever be AMAZED that NOBODY yet uses his method. It's SO SIMPLE! AH .. BUT ... HERE ... CHECK IT OUT HIGH SPEED INTERNET USERS

Anybody know a Division I Ball Player ..
Who would like to become an EXCELLENT FREE THROW SHOOTER? Someone, perhaps, who currently isn't .... OR Who is REAL SMART? And wants to get better? The "ideal" candidate might be a person who already plays a good game of "getting to the basket" ... not "just" for the purpose of "going all the way to the rack" and "dunking," ... but also for the purpose of getting "stomped on, hacked and abused" ... on his ... or her way ... to the free throw line! SCORING POINTS ... or someone who wants to! SoCô¿ôL Bob SoCooLBob@Yahoo.Com Last edited by SoCooLBob on Mon Mar 13, 2006 1:07 pm, edited 2 times in total.

My apologies.
I admit that I and "Shaq Watch" haven't really been paying as much attention to The Warriors and their free throws, this year, as apparently we should. http://www.nba.com/warriors/stats/ As for my part, let's face it, I got more important things. Health issues, work issues, a new television station to manage. I haven't shot very many free throws myself, this year. More important things. So ... does anyone want to EXPLAIN to me how: A guy plays basketball for a living ... among a group of friends ... And he makes 34% of his free throws? Consistently! How come I KNOW that I could challenge Andris Biedrins to a game of free throws, without ANY PRACTICE ... ANY TIME ... and be a GUARANTEED WINNER? How come I continue to be AMAZED that someone could actually go through life with such a simple goal ... get paid for it ... do it in a group and not achieve it? How does that happen? And the guy doesn't work for the government? OK Here ... here's someone who takes his skills a little more seriously ... and he works alone. Enjoy Yourself! Harder than, more FUN than free throws! Success Is Bliss ô¿~ |
