Til now, I thought it was golf and sex...

It's good to make your freethrows but enjoy it like sex
Getting pissed and hangingout with the boys having some laughs, real good exhilarating amusement park rides and anything else that brings about a real rush can be compared to the joy of sex

Please Believe Me ...

Having attempted to discuss something as SIMPLE as FREE THROWS
with this or any other group ...

And ... getting the responses I get ...

You're not likely to see me attempt to discuss the Biblical
lessons taught by even such wise men as Solomon ...
as they relate to "women" ...

Check out the 10 Commandments or Don't
Read Proverbs ... One Chapter Daily ... Or Don't
Is about all I'm currently willing to say on that subject.

Oh .. OK ..
I will add that, "to me," ... sex is the number one form of "communication"
one can experience on "this earth."

The spiritual description of Bishop Pike's son, whom Bishop Pike claimed to have communicated with after death in a book called "The Other Side,"
was that ... on the other side ... there was no sex per se, because there are no bodies ... BUT ... it is possible, said Bishop Pikes son ... to merge with another spirit, and, if done well, one could completely merge so as to become one, at least momentarily.

After that, said Bishop Pike's son, the souls would seperate and become
two again.

The merger of two souls, spirits ... as he described it, was like "sex" here on earth ... just no bodies.

Oooh ... how's that for excitement.
If you can't get "it" with that description ... then you need to go practice
your free throws :?

Bible and sex? Well I will say this:
The bible is one perverted sex pool where the two things that occur the most is killing and fuking! Yes, that's right!

Solomon was quite the bloke with a few hundred whores, some wives and others bitches on the side!

Also another thing, it is quite unbelievable how almost all the babies born in the bilble stories are boys. Phalic religion.

By the way, read Leviticus - Nice after a meal or making love

It's clear that male/female relationships have been a problem ...
for a LONG ... LONG ... TIME

'Course it's a lot better today ...
Need I add? Yeah Right!

 Oh no.

Trust me, uptempo... walk away now. Unless you're looking for a big headache from pounding your head into your keyboard, just walk away.

Even though you're totally right (this thread has nothing to do with Warriors basketball), the moderators have a soft spot for Bob, so they won't help you. At which point, it becomes a pissing contest. Don't question Bob's thread. It doesn't lead to anything productive or worthwhile.

If you don't believe me, ask Pest.

It's just something that happens, uptempo. Like the night coming after the day. No one can avoid it.

As for the soft spot, Hobbes has said that the thread is alright and there's no reason to close it. A bit on the limit, but valid. Obviously, several threads at the same time or things like that cross the limit and become spam... but this thread was allowed when it started and there's no reason to close it now. It won't be last thread to go severely off-topic.

A different matter would be if it should be moved to other forum, but it doesn't bother me here. It's a classic of this forum.

Migya, let's not call them whores. They were his concubines, just a small step away from being a wife. As a matter of fact, they were his wife whenever he was away from home. plus concubine is a nicer word.

This thread stays, at least until it gets abusive, which it won't. Those that don't like it, don't have to read it

I find it hard to believe that ANYONE could "seriously" question the
"source" of this thread ... or it's primary purpose and content.

But, in all fairness, there are other things I find hard to believe that
nevertheless are true.

52 Percent Free Throws = Two NBA Teams In One Game
I find that hard to believe.

38 Percent Free Throws - One Whole Year - NBA Player who makes a million dollars or more.
I find that hard to believe.

An adequate demonstration of the simplicity of making free throws ...
not followed by ANYONE ... even though the Number One rule of being successful is to find a person who knows how to do a thing ... and FOLLOW.
I find that hard to believe ... BUT ...

The "thread" is definitely about Free Throws

The variations that occurred this time had to do with a simple attempt
to be FUNNY about ... to lighten up the conversation a bit.

Sex and Free Throws

It would appear that many are more interested in sex than free throws.
It would be "rude" not to comment on someone elses comment ...
So I've certainly participated, trying to be of "help" as is my predominant nature.

I'm absolutely certain that success at both Sex And Free Throws "should" be important to the Golden State Warriors, and that there are better ways of doing both.

But, mostly, the thread is about the skill of making free throws.
20 Percent of the points scored in every game are scored from the free throw line, etc.

The Warriors are third worst in the league in free throw percentage ... at home ... in spite of the fact that shooting free throws was one of the Number One Complaints of their new coach Don Nelson ... in spite of the fact that according to reports a great deal of effort was exercised in training camp to improve the GS'ers free throws.

Special coaches were hired ... all kinds of stuff.

I guess it must be my "mission" in life to continue to advocate a better way to make free throws ... and to put up with the abuse that ultimately comes from being such an advocate ...

Not from you guys though. No, No.

#32 wrote:I nominate SoCoolBob for best gimmick on the forum. This free-throws thing is great!

I just absolutely love the way some comment on what they want .. in the way they want ... and TOTALLY IGNORE "some" responses.
In some cases, you might even say they were "double minded?"

You might say that. Not I.
I got enough problems just being a "pain in the ass" on the subject
of free throws. Constantly and repetitively talking about "results" and stuff.

Any other questions? :agrue:

Who's method of defining words is a classic in it's own right !!!

TMC wrote:It's a classic of this forum.

Not to be "repetitive" ... although that too is one of the secrets of achieving positive results at anything ... I "confess" ... I really do AGREE with this comment of TMC's. Not only is this a "totally classic" thread on the Golden State Warrior Message Board. This is a "classic" thread on the Entire World Wide Web.

Very and totally CLASSIC !!!

What's classic about it?
OK .. If I must.
That so many people could view it so many times and NEVER even ATTEMPT in any reasonable way ... to perfect the skill being so easily demonstrated.

NEVER even attempt to develop the skill, when that's the only real way one could really make an intelligent comment about it.
Classic?

P.S.

Don't give up now.
This entire subject could be "heating" up ... REAL SOON

Wonder what "this" means?

:D :D :D :D :D

P>S> Congratulations to Andris Biedrins .... Probably a career high four for six from the line ... 66 Percent ...

I got to see a bit of this game ... I think Andris missed his first two ...
therefore hit four in a row ... used a totally different style.

Line Drive, Base Hit !!!

Looks like they'll continue to get what they paid for.

It's funny. I just keep "picturing" ... "visualizing" each of these guys
eliminating their egos, practicing a better shot, stepping up to the line and making them underhand. I CAN SEE IT ALL ... but, I guess neither you or they can.

Stand, Grip, Lift, Follow Through, SWISH ... Oh so easy, if one's mind is in the "right' place. Ah well. Maybe next year.

Nice fourth quarter Warriors. Very special, even against a not so good team.
