He is not the answer to the W's interior defense right now! Even without Kaman in the lineup Brand destroyed the W's!!!

Brand hasn't had this type of game against the W's in awhile. Even when Murphy and Ike were here, Brand didn't have these types of num against GS.

AB has probs with big physical centers and and 4's in this league. His defense is not aggressive enough even though he gets theses ticky tack fouls and he is not intimadating. The numbers are somewhat false even though he gets close to 2 blocks a game. Nene, Kristic, Yao, Brand have had big games against the W's.

I think this recent trade might have made the W's more athletic but hurt their rebounding and interior defense BIG TIME!!! We should have kept Ike and given Indy someone else!

I don't like the fact that Ike never got a chance to play big minutes even for this team! How many times has Nellie used different starting lineups? Ike did do well at the end of last year when Richardson and Murphy were hurt!

Now it looks like we have to wait till we clear up salary cap space to maybe go after a big time 4 to help out AB, while saving money for Monta and AB. Let MP go! I really don't see the W's saving more money by letting JR walk in 4 yrs. By, then he'll only be 28 or 29!

Biedrins has been a revelation but can't be expected to do it all by himslef! A defensive capable PF is needed next to him or very good team defense and neither exists. Biedrins is arguably the best player for the team this season

Not so sure what you're watching. Yes, Biedrins is foul prone. But he's young and still learning. You can't expect the kid to do it all when he's only what?... 20? 21? Sheesh, you expect too much from our guys. And besides, they lost against the Clips because of too many fouls/3 point plays and not getting to the line.

How many times did Biedrins have to come off of Brand to protect against the pourous defense of our guys on the peremiter. He's shown many times before that he's more than capable of guarding his man one on one down in the block, no matter who he is.

We should have waited till J-Rich and rest of the team to get healthy before we made a trade! Looks like Lewis might be available during the summer and maybe KG!!!!

The W's were playing well with J-Rich, Monta, AB, and DunMurphy before the ship sunk!!!

some of these posts are ridiculas. elton brand is an all-star, AB is a 20 year old. dont write any more stupid posts. it's a waste of a read.

This is the dumbest match up our good friend Nellie could find. We have a mini-Murphy in Harrington (a power forward who can't post, pass out of post, rebound or defend) and we have our only front line player picking up fouls against EB. That's why we pay Foyle the big freaking bucks is to guard low post studs like Brand. Dunleavy Sr. with extra motivation freaking worked Nellie who was too open about Jr's flaws. The Clippers played with intensity, and without Biedrins we had Tim Thomas, Ross, Maguette and Livingston scoring at will. Note to Nellie, next time you bash a coach's son in public, make sure you got a good game plan because 0-3 post trade will make you look like a has been. Our guards shot like crap, we turn the ball over, we got worked on the boards like always, and Brand swatted our shots like a MVP. I am still shocked that the poor outside shooting Clips where given layups and blocking fouls through the game and no real adjustment from Nellie to actually have interior defense.

So when the W's beat the Jazz and Spurs which ****ing lineup did they have out there!!! The W's definitely won't be beating up the Mavs like they used to!!!

When Dirk comes to town he have a field day against the W's! Remember all those memories of the W's beating up on Dallas cause that **** ain't happening anymore!!!

This team will continue to suck because of their lack of height, defense and streaky shooting!!!

This team is going nowhere!!! Put that in the ****ing bank!!!

Brand is an All-Star but the point here is Murph had the big games against Clips last year!!! You remember the close to 20 reb game he had against them? The only game the w's won?

Yes, but do you remember when the Warriors only had 7 guys in uniform, and only 6 played because of the trade? And we almost beat them?! Let me take you back in time...

The men who played were, Baron, Monta, Barnes, Azubuike, Biedrins, Major, POB. And we outrebounded them by one; 44-43; WITH all of their players, including Kaman. And we only lost by 6.

You mentioned Barnes and Azubuike. These guys have been AWOL since the new guys have joined the team. Nelly forgot who brough him to the dance. Also, the power forward we are missing is probably already here, Josh Powell. Nelly only plays this guyas a last resort and everytime he produces. He is big and strong. He gets tough rebounds with people around him ( you here that Al?). He also has a very nice touchj. Why doesn't Nelly play this guy more? He's being treated like Diogu.
