When Larry Brown took over the coaching reins at Indiana, everyone in the organization had told him that Rik Smits needed to "bulk up," and to "put on weight." Defying conventional wisdom, Larry Brown and the Pacers decided to get Rik Smits to lose some weight (and body fat) and to get into better cardiovascular condition. His career took off.
With POB playing in the Nelson-uptempo offense, it might behoove the kid to work on body conditioning, agility, and quickness drills more so than buling up. I have not given up on the kid. If he develops, he and Biedrens may become our two-headed lean monsters in the pivot.

That's a nice thought. Either/or is fine with me. He just needs to work his ass off, in some manner.
