Golden State Waives Roberson

The Golden State Warriors have waived guard Anthony Roberson, Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Mullin announced today.
Roberson, who was originally signed as a free agent training camp invitee on October 2, 2006, appeared in 20 games for the Warriors this season, averaging 5.6 points and 1.0 rebound in 11.4 minutes per contest
well, i would have liked to see mcleod released rather than roberson. i thought roberson was a very good shooter. but with all the guards that we have and the arrival of matt barnes (wtf??!!) i can see why we released him.

Of course Roberson will sign on with an eastern division team and make several all-star teams.

Doesn't suprise me. He was just one of those players who could help spark the offense out, that's all. I'll take Azubuike for sure over Roberson any day.
