Thoughts on Big Nate

Preface: I dig the guy, I dig his restaurant.

He's obviously not a reasonable solution as the pipes are lacking and the energy really isn't there.

That said, I've enjoyed his performance the last game and a half. Nice change of pace, some good insights and a different dynamic. I'd give him a few games a year to mix things up.

He totally sucks! He kept saying all night that the Warriors were playing good defense. How does a mediocre team score 117 against you if you are playing good defense? He had nothing worthwhile to add and totally stated the obvious all the time. Loved him as a player, but hate him as either an interview or broadcaster.

He was a great center who, if Kareem had not come onto the scene, would have been considered the best of his era (just after Russell and Chamberlin). Kareem had stated that Nate was the toughest center for him to play against. I had the opportunity to had seen Nate block a Kareem sky hook.

As a color commentator, let's just say that Nate should stick to cooking chicken and ribs.

Yeah, he did seem a bit dull and boring at times.

Nate's gotta speak up!!

He needs to talk louder, and keep on topic of how Monta Ellis is one of the greatest players he has ever seen.
