And he still had game. For whatever reason he couldn’t fit in with a team. But he still could score in the post. He was a very valuable all star does us and shall not be forgotten.

This is not surprising in general, but it is surprising personally. Lee certainly could still contribute and it's hard to imagine not team could make room for him, but considering his age, ceiling, and that the only teams that could probably really use him aren't competitive and would rather give a young player the roster spot.

Not that the league would make a big deal about it, but I wonder if the Warriors will do something like sign him for a 1-day contract. He's not a hall-of-famer, but he certainly was one of our few bright spots for years.

I remember when David Lee hit the league. he was a relevation. Was a points and rebound monster

Such a defensive liability but otherwise he had a great jump shot, a knack for rebounding and was a great passer too.
