To celebrate a new season of Warrior basketball we're going to kick things off with a contest to see who can most accurately predict DEFENDING WORLD CHAMPIONS' record for the upcoming 2015-16 regular season. We don't have much time before the season tips off, and all predictions must be made before Tuesday, October 27, 7:30 PM PT.

The winner will receive prize yet to be determined, which will most likely be an official tee shirt, hat, or a list of options and sizes for the winner to choose from.

Official Rules:
The winner will be the board member that most accurately, or exactly, predicts the Warriors' regular season record. In case of a tie, tiebreaker predictions are as follows:
  1. Warriors player who has the SECOND highest Points Per Game (pretty obvious who no. 1 will be )
  2. The closest to Points Per Game total of player above
You may submit your prediction by simply posting in this thread, or if you would rather not tip anyone off you can send me a private message HERE.

You can change your prediction anytime before the deadline, but only you last one will count.

The site will be undergoing many changes in the near future, and this'll be the first of a series of contests and giveaways throughout the season, so keep checking back in to make sure you don't miss out.

I'm gonna go with 58 wins, which sounds like a 3-seed to me.

2nd highest scorer will be Klay Thompson at 23.1 points.

You guys are very close to what I originally was thinking in my head. I have 59-23 (which I'm guess will be the 2nd seed).

2nd scorer: Klay : 19.6ppg.

Looks like we might have to extend this - I think nobody looks at the announcement since it was the FB post for days - but 9 predictions just isn't enough.

I am going to extend this until next Tuesday, and I'll send out some emails. Since we only play a few games in the first week or so, we should be good.

Anyone that voted can recast their vote.

I reckon around 57-26 record will be close.

And Klay, with about 19.5 PPG.

Ok, as much as I want to keep this going to get some more votes, after handling our first 4 games, I think we've got a pretty strong indicator of how things are going, so votes will stay. We'll have more contests throughout the season though.

I was wondering where you've been. I'll allow it, and anyone that's already made a prediction to change their prediction before tonight's game @ 7:30 PT, but this'll be the cut off (for real this time).

As i said, I plan on having a few more of these to coincide with some general changes around here.
