This would be a great pick-up for Kerr's staff. They guy is very well respected in the Euroleague. He can really be creative and innovative for our squad. I would like the pick-up.

I don't know much about him, or much about hardly any potential assistant coaches, but it looks good on paper. There were some rumors that we were interested in Tyrone Corbin and Lionel Hollins, but I don't know if there's anything to them. I don't see Hollins taking an assistant job. He’ll probably end up as the HC of Utah or Minnesota.

I’m a bit worried that with this interest in an offensive-minded assistant coach, and the possibility of us dealing Klay in a package for Love, that we might get away from the defensive culture we have. We already lost Michael Malone before last season, who - coupled with excellent personnel decisions - was the real catalyst for our leaps on D. We do need to improve on offense, and develop far more consistency, but I don’t want that to be at the cost of defense.

Until they screw up, in Meyers + Lacob I trust.

Kerr needs proven assistants at the nba level around him and this guy does have that, though hopefully he'll do well. A defensive minded assistant is a need.

Looks like he is interviewing for the head job in cleveland. So he might not even make it to us.
