Fistusall looks like an athlete that does what the team needs in defense and shotblocking. He's big and strong and that's what the team hasn't had in their bigs until they got Bogut and now look, the team has Tyler as well, a pretty athletic big and also Green, a strong build and athletic. Well set with big athleticism, size and strength.

The roster looks pretty complete to at least be a 6th seed or thereabouts.

I am very excited about this pick. Reason being, we can now play VERY big if need be. Assuming we retain McGuire, when we need to match up big, we can have McGuire at the 3, Ezeli at 4, and Bogut at 5. That's MONSTER defense right there, and great size. Never have we had that ability or luxury. It's going to be very interesting to see the type of lineups we trot out there.

For those worried about his lack of rebounding, you've got to realize, when players have a high volume of blocks, they sometimes find themselves out of position for the rebound (since they're contesting the shots always). I'll take his oustanding blocking ability while he improves his rebounding game. This guy is a beast.

Nice write up on Ezeli in Warrior's first summer league practice. I wouldn't look too much into it, but I'm glad he has the motor and capacity to be a defensive anchor.

Energy and hard work means alot and it's good to see Ezeli's got that. As long as he's a viable backup, he's a keepr.

I hope he can be a better version of Ronny Turiaf.

Granted, I'm going off of 4 summer league games, but...

I don't see the Udoh or Turiaf comparisons with Ezeli?

That's not to say that I don't see talent; he's banged into the opposing block players visciously en route to the cup ahd definitely is a big-bodied dude that fills up the lane, but I see a lot more Kwame Brown in Ezeli than Udoh. He doesn't have the shot-blocking instincts; he has the size and the athleticism, which both Udoh and Turiaf lacked a bit of... But Festus Ezeli looks like a Shaq-stopper more than a shot-blocker.

Elzeli looks like a great shot blocker. Not as good timing as Udoh, but definitely comprable to Turiaf. He's way better at shot blocking then Kwame, and also has they body to bang. He needs
To learn to rebound out of his area a bit better work on one or two offensive moves. However he can come in and have a huge impact defensively starting day one. He will only get better too, learning from Bogut.
