Agreed...I was hoping for this, but I wasn't optimistic that it would develop like this for real. I'm thrilled.

Festus Ezeli and Draymond Green are toughness picks.

Well friggin done. After addressing the starting SF issue, Myers immediately turns his attention to Golden State's need for a backup big. Enter Ezeli, a smash mouth shot-blocking center, and Green, a wide-bodied 4 with grit. I'm officially pumped. Draft day worked out like a dream.

Very happy with this pick. We seem to get Kwame back without his contract, plus he is Wests guy and that means a lot.
The only thing left now is to get rid of Dorrel, Jefferson and most of all Mum-ra.

I'm not so sure about that Kwame comparison. Ezeli is a great defender (Kwame looked OK on D last season) and his thing is shot blocking, which wasn't Kwame's strong side. On the other hand, I think that Kwame was/is a better rebounder. I hope Ezeli will improve that segment of his game.

Anyway, I'm really thrilled with this draft. Can't wait for season to start now.
