Great thread, Stairway Man! It would be interesting to see if a smart coach can devise a style/system to combat the Warrior style/system. I find it almost laughable how teams are trying to duplicate what the Warriors are doing on offense with its interchangeable pieces and 3-ball threat. A team like...

Without Draymond Green, the Golden State Warriors are in big trouble. He disrupts the other team's offense by actively contesting both shots and passes; he takes on the toughest defensive assignments with high energy; he attacks the glass on both the defensive and offensive ends of the floor; he can...

Can Damian Jones, a second-year player who had limited playing time last season, 2nd round rookie draft pick Jordan Bell, and free agent rookie Chris Boucher adequately replace ZaZa Pachulia, JaVale McGee, and James Michael McAdoo? Also, does Kevon Looney look "slow," even "old" ...

its the same reason why lebron doesn't win every single year people get used to that type of production as though it isn't a big deal anymore....realistically as much as I hate him lebron is the MVP every year Really thought-provoking posting...I like it and agree with your assessment, too. BTW, I ...

Mike Brown is nice but I probably would rather have walton back to fill in and as a long term solution.. Mike Brown, a proven head coach from the Gregg Popovich coaching tree, is largely responsible for the Warriors getting back to playing lock-down defense, something which had started during the t...

I have also been more-than-impressed with how Iguodala has stepped-up his offensive game, especially in his halfcourt game. Board friends, let's face it; this team is loaded and will only get better when KD returns. It is so great to see the Warriors in a position to compete for championships. It wa...

Let's also not forget how well Ian Clark has developed this season into a really good role player where there is no drop off at the point guard position when he comes into the game.

Remember when he had or almost had a Quadruple Double. That **** doesn't happen to often. (He was missing the double digit points) It was the first EVER triple double without points; 12 reb, 10 ast, 10 steals, and 5 blocks. If that's not the stat line of a DPoY, and ultimate glue guy, nothing is. @...

I would also suggest that Draymond Green is the MVP of this Warrior team...key defensive stops (steals, blocks, positioning), rebounding, assists, and timely baskets are all part of his well-rounded game.

Draymond Green is the leader of this team, as evidenced by his play vs. the Sixers last night. Blocking shots, making steals, hustling for rebounds and loose balls, are all part of his game...pure 100% effort! Draymond willed this Warrior team to victory yesterday. The team needs to play better defe...

There were some wholesale changes made to this Warrior roster and the team is still learning how to play together as a cohesive unit. We Warrior fans need to relax and watch this team improve. Some observations that may make people feel better: 1. Draymond Green as a distributor and facilitator on o...

So Jreed. Guess who the Spurs just signed? David Lee. That makes it now even much more important for the Warriors to get bigger. The Spurs have 3 quality bigs that can really score down low against us. Aldridge, Gasol, and Lee. And they all are very capable of making the jump shots as well. We only...

Do you honestly think Pachulia will gives us what we need? Of course he will probably be more aggressive on offense than Bogut, but what about when we need rim protection? Let's be honest JReed, we didn't lose the Finals because of Bogut. I think a lot of people put the blame on Bogut. But the fact...

Uptempo are you telling me that The team that won 73 games is not good enough to win Championships? Has there ever been a team that dominating that wasn't good enough? JReed, please chime in here. This is very difficult to accept if true. Uptempo. We lost by 4 points in the last game. With everythi...
