Marvin Williams has been playing out of position in Atlanta is a natural SF. Josh Smith is having a solid year, but Atlanta has made it clear that Marvin is the future of their franchise. Joe Johnson is better suited at the 2 guard spot. The Warriors need a rebounding SF and Smith could be just that...

GS Sends Murphy, Dunleavy, Diogu, and Mcleod to Indiana for Al Harrington, Josh Powell, Stephen Jackson, and Sarunas Jaskeivicious. A great deal for the Warriors and though it seems that Indiana is getting ripped off, its not a bad deal for them as well. Murphy and Dunleavy may thrive in a slower te...

You know, I'd be happy just trading Dun or Murphy (or both, but that won't happen) for expirers. I wouldn't ask for anything else, not picks, not good players... just expirers. Maybe that could make the trick. If not, I'd rather trade Monta than J-Rich. And still would be reluctant to move him unle...

Nellie has even said himself that this team is just an ordinary team at best. In some cases, like this, less is more. You all have to think about what this team will be like in 3-4 years and my guess is, almost exactly the same but Troy wil be making $11M and Dunleavy will be making nearly $10M. Jas...

For fun here and these trades will never happen but what do you think? 1. Send Richardson and Diogu to Utah for Andrei Kirilenko. He's been injured and has struggled since coming back, but the Jazz are still winning thanks to Williams and Boozer. Their biggest need is a shooting guard and Jason coul...

This was an article from sportillustrated.com and though it won't happen, it makes a lot of sense. Observation Deck By Kelly Dwyer • Heading back to the Atlantic (sorry), it's hard to see the Nets doing anything of note even with a healthy Jefferson and Kidd and Nenad Krstic back on board. The Nets,...

If in fact, Paxon is still interested in Murphy then the Warriors should be able to accomodate them. The Bulls lack a PF to go with their solid backcourt, Deng, and Wallace. Tyrus Thomas is more of a SF. Having a guy like Murphy can definitely help their team but they may need some young players to ...

Noone is going to want Murphy straight up. Teams will either be asking that he'd be packaged with Biedrins or Monta. Athletic 7 footers with great hands are much harder to come by than 6'3 combo guards so I'd much rather offer Monta.

McInnis was shipped out of NJ along with cash to the Bobcats for Bernard Robinson so this trade is a no. Plus, why would you ship out Monta when he has proved more than Wright, McInnis, and Boone have? POB already looks like he's promising enough over Collins. People always miss the point of me wan...

We all have to look at the big picture and determine where this team is going to be in 3 years. My conclusion is that they'll be rebuilding once again and here is why. Next season, the Warriors payroll will reach $62M. Assuming the cap increases to $55M from its current $53, the Warriors will still ...

1. Pay Gasol wants to contend for a championship and the Warriors are about another 10 years from doing that, so I doubt that he'd want to come here. 2. Mikael Pietrus is a restricted free agent this year and Memphis will most likely not match any crazy offers he gets especially when they still have...

Deng may not be as untouchable as some may think. Tyrus Thomas is their future at the SF and has Shawn Marion type qualities and potential. If the Warriors can somehow get Deng and PJ Brown for Murphy and Pietrus, then I think they'd have to listen to the offer. Pietrus gives them the big 2 guard th...

I've been reading a bunch of rumors and I've come across one that suggests that the Warriors would be willing to trade Davis and Biedrins for Iverson. I've dismissed it just as quickly as I read it, but thought to myself that this is the same guy that signed Foyle, Dunleavy, and Murphy to ridiculous...

And thats easier said than done and may take a young prospect. The situation in Phoenix is that Diaw and Stoudemire already make a great front court. You throw Kurt Thomas in there and its solid. Marion maybe dealt if the package is right. They've just signed Diaw to a pretty big extension and his c...

I wished Nelson was hired 3 months ago. If he was, then I doubt that the Warriors would of drafted O'Bryant and Perovic. It would of been players like Brewer and Alexander Johnson. Be it as it may, Nelson is the new coach and he needs the players around him to fit his style of play. Murphy and Foyle...
