If last year we rejected a sign and trade that would have involved us getting a first round draft pick, then I'm pretty sure we're not gonna let him walk. I think Riley is waiting for an offer sheet he can match.

I dunno, I don't think these owners are that stupid. That sounds like something Nellie would be able to do with Rowell in charge, but these owners want to clean house and bring their own guys in, from the sound of things.

Interesting article from early in Cohan's tenure.

I'm feelin pretty good about our team going into this year. With JR out of the picture, maybe we can get back to playing somewhat competent football. Still, I think us fans always get excited about the Raiders before the season, then it just falls apart.

Yeah no one cares that much about the world championships, so I don't really care as long as they're back for the Olympics. Even still, that US world championship team looks pretty balanced.

Interesting interview. Guber seems very in tune with the marketing aspect of entertainment, and with his experience in Hollywood a sense of how to handle the people side of things. Lacob is probably gonna be the major decision maker in terms of basketball personnel.

Brian Shaw would be an interesting choice... Bay Area roots, would that mean we would be seeing some triangle offense from the Warriors? Also, he has no head coaching experience so it would be risky. Still, given his pedigree as a former NBA player and successful assistant coach, he would be a good ...

I feel pretty confident that he can return to his top form. It seemed like injuries were the main reason for his slump this past season. Even though David Lee will be the main pick and roll target this year, Biedrins can also run it pretty well, and with the emergence of Curry hopefully he can get s...

I really don't want mastrov. Read somewhere, one of his guys, who scarily enough is named rowelly, said something a long the lines of we've been a successful club cos we've made a lot of money ****! I hate hearing **** like this. It's Dunleavy talk with Ellison vs. this kind of crap with Mastrov :b...

With Udoh's injury looking like it could be a few months, Wright is gonna have to step up and I think he could be primed for a breakout year. He was one of my favorite players when he was a rookie and still has the potential to be a game changer with his length and athleticism. Besides the fact that...

I know it's not gonna happen, but honestly I'd like to see us match Morrow and eat some luxury tax. He's such a good weapon to have on offense. He had a 59.7% true shooting percentage last year, which is godly. He rebounds well for his position (at SG) and doesn't make mistakes or turn the ball over...

My favorite part of this signing is the fact that we have a perimeter defender who is big enough to guard the other big guys on the perimeter. Last year, we had no one who could do that. Also, our starting five isn't undersized now!

Yep. Wright is a solid defender and rebounder, while providing size at the 3 position, something we desperately needed. Also, I think he might be ready to breakout, as I feel he was held back in Miami, partly due to injuries. Not a horrible contract either considering some other contracts free agent...
