Watching the Niners get destroyed by the Falcons and read some articles regarding the W's on SFGate. It's been a long time since I posted here, but I channeled my inner Bill Simmons and used the ESPN Trade Machine, to try and undo Robert Rowell's "work". ===================================...

Just to clarify... We couldn't have resigned Baron to a new deal and then dealt him (as suggested). Sign and Trades only work when the trade is tied directly to the contract. Otherwise we would ahve had to wait I believe half a year before trading him. He could have been injured, rendering any trade...

it has been a LOoooOng time since I last posted - probably even before the playoff run last season. But this merited a post. I'm happy for Baron. We definitely revamped his career by taking him in when no one else wanted him. We took our chances with his huge contract and injured body. But he in ret...

I read in one of the articles... I think sfgate.com? That Baron could opt out of the contract after the 2007-08 season and file for free agency. That would be why the warriors would want to offer an extension and lock him up before he could leave. The problem with that, as said, is he will have to r...

I thought Jrich was set to go on one of his runs in the Third, he started hitting some shots... but it just didn't materialize. I think coming back home will bring back the swagger and confidence. Once he puts up some good numbers in games 3 and 4 at home, he'll be set to tear it up back in Dallas.

I agree with Barkley and everyone else who has said AJ should have at least tried the system that got Dallas to 60+ wins. BUT I understand why he changed it up, the last few times it hasn't worked. Regardless I think he should have utilized Damp and Diop at least in Game 1 to see what happened. From...

I'm actually pretty disappointed at Avery Johnson's coaching, I was expecting a lot more from him, but how great can a coach be when he's playing the Warriors style? A good coach would make the other team play the Mavs style. Agreed, I think that's why Barkley seemed somewhat bitter. Because he's d...

Honestly, if he drove in rather than shooting the jumpers, he'd get his points. He tried to drive, but he utilizes the post up to set up a spin move and then drives. Problem is the Warriors kept attacking him immediately with a second and sometimes third defender as soon as he began his post up pro...

I think Mavs fans need to choose one: 1) Regular season is meaningless. By that accord, even if our play against you is meaningless, your regular season record is meaningless. 2) Regular season is meaningful. By that accord, even if your record is meaningful, our play against you is meaningful. Wel...

I admire Cuban's intensity and dedication to his team and fans, but his whining and crying are too much. He always has the scowl of a 3rd grader who didn't get a piece of candy at the grocery store checkout stand. I didn't catch the shoulder bump, but I did read about it on several news outlets. Bar...

I've never heard any teammate not appreciate Jackson. He would do anything for a teammate (including running into the stands). He has a fire that the no Warrior has had in a long time (other than J-Rich when he occassionally goes on a crazy run like 7 for 7 in a quarter against Utah. We need that fi...

I chose the return of J.Rich, but I don't think it's possible he'll return at 100%. He's had leg surgery and an arm injury, we can't expect him to come back and put up 23 ppg. That said i don't think this is our season. The new pieces are nice, and no one can claim we are short of talent, but they n...

Thanks for posting the articles all, and it's great to be back TMC... I've been around but got tired of defending myself as a fan of the team... so stopped posting for awhile. But now Foyle has been permanently benched and murph and dumb are gone
