7 days left. I wonder who in the Warriors organization is going to buy it at the last minute just to avoid the embarrassment...

Do you remember seeing Tim Young in a Warriors uniform? Do you really think Monty had anything to do with the depth of that talent? The guy was a poetry major for crying out loud. Monty was inflicted with the players Stanford allowed him to recruit. Can you imagine drafting an NBA team only from guy...

but the meek, almost afraid to attack the basket in the post game is pretty much identical to how Madsen (one of the finer Stanford big man prospects) plays in the NBA. C'mon #32, Madsen is probably the least talented player in the NBA. The only reason he plays is because he is all hustle. I'm stil...

All those guys are dedicated post guys(mediocre, but dedicated). Murphy's game is nothing like what Monty teaches.

Damn right, everybody here is so jaded and tortured by all the lost St. Jean years they panic when things don't go quite right. As long as we have Monta, Ike and Biedrins we are moving in the right direction.

DJ, that is very level-headed and wise of you. Thanks for the opinion.

I think Biedrins is about ready. Physically, he is a force already. The guy is strong, quick and incredibly active. He has pretty poor ball skills, but he is a rebounding machine and an improving defender.

To be honest, nobody on the Warriors team or in the Warriors franchise has shown that special leadership abilitiy either. Maybe Mario Ellie or Keith Smart may have it. But outside of those possibilities, nobody else does have it. I disagree about where that "special leadership ability" exists on th...

We should dump Murphy's contract for whatever expiring contract we can get:

To NOK for PJ Brown or Desmond Mason

To Milwaukee for Jamaal Magloire or Joe Smith

To Indiana for Austin Croshere

I don't care what the trade is, we just need to dump salary and we just don't need Troy Murphy.

Stromile is still a fairly young, athletic bigman which is what the Bucks lack. If they shop Magloire around and aren't able to get any offers they like, I could see them taking a flyer on Stromile. His contract isn't unreasonable either. As for Bob Sura it all depends on how healthy is able to get....

How about adding say, Milwaukee into the mix. Warriors get: Jamaal Magloire and Dikembe Mutombo Rockets get: Murphy and Fisher and Maurice Williams Milwaukee gets: Stromile Swift and Bob Sura We get a starting and backup center both with expiring contracts, Rockets get their good shooting forward an...

I think Diogu and Ellis are on-par to be star players. I absolutely don't give up on him, just saying that J-Rich/Murphy/Fisher for O'Neal is a pretty good bargain for the Warriors. Truthfully I'd rather see Diogu starting out there next year then O'Neal. I'd really rather see O'Neal as the C with D...

All-Star quality power forwards are worth more than the same quality shooting guards. J-Rich is great but I get the impression that Warriors fans like him better than anybody else in the league does.

Chicago Tribune columnist Sam Smith: "So what gets it done? Perhaps a major deal that sends O'Neal and Stephen Jackson to the Warriors while Jason Richardson, Troy Murphy and Derek Fisher are sent to the Pacers, with secondary names uncertain." I like it, but I just don't see the Pacers biting. Is t...
