Damon is washed up, LaRoche wouldn't really be that much of an upgrade, and any available pitchers that WOULD make an impact won't sign with the G's anyways... Cust @ a 1 yr deal would of made sense but for some reason my A's picked him back up for a discount...

I'd say he's a keeper ( Powell ), only for the right price off course. I'm a firm Thabeet supporter but I doubt we'll be able to get him. NO MORE NON-DEFENSIVE PLAYERS please...***030***...

Baron's a valuble asset? Yes...but I still think he's unreliable. We shouldn't waste our time/$$/chemistry on these types of players. Mullin might keep him until 08/09 though. ***030***

I think Noah would be a better fit for us, as he's able to to play the high post, has @least 18 ft of range on his jumper, and passes well for a bigman. It would be great to see him and Dre on the floor together ( if Nellie could stomach the idea of playing 2 bigs together for more than 5-8 mpg ). W...

The real question is how much is MP worth. Jax's averaging about 7 1/4 mill over the next 3 years. I like the dude, but not over MP. I'd look to move Jax b4 the deadline, but he can't be packaged with anyone else so we may have wait awhile. ---***030***---

Darrel Arthur and Ajinca in 07 for the GSW's, but I think 2 or 3 talented wing players will fall and be available in rnd 1. I like Brewer alot but it wouldn't make much sense taking him in the top 20. Trade Murphy for scraps and buy out Foyle. One or two ( 2-3 million ) FA vets can cover for a year ...
