Giving up Randolph for Gasol is a tossup, as Gasol is better now but AR has arguably a higher ceiling. But how long can we wait to find out what that ceiling is? LOVE the trade of Randolph for Gasol MC. Really addresses a big need for us. However I would be a bit concerned about our lack of PF. Aft...

another Monta possibility I like: Monta and Randolph for Gay and Gasol. Gay would have to be a sign and trade. I'm guessing he'll want 10+ million a year, which would put him in Monta's salary range. He'll also want at least a 4-5 year deal, which again is in Monta's 5 year current contract range. S...

the only reason they are offering up the pick is to get rid of Brand. Has anyone heard any instance where they offered the pick without including him? if they trade the pick with Brand, they lose the ability to draft Turner. So i'm curious, explain to me again how they can't use Monta if Turner is n...

oh lord! MC, the reason Phily is even trying to move the 2nd pick is that they dont need a shot creating SG. So WHY would they trade for Monta???? In that case, they just stay where they are and draft a younger, cheaper, and better version of Monta i disagree. The reason they are moving the pick is...

Monta and the #6 for Elton Brand and the #2. I know Brand has seen better days, but he's still an upgrade at the 4. He's a career 20/10 guy, pretty similar to Amare, but he's in a bad situation in Philly, and Monta is in a bad situation here. Swap disgruntled players and give them a new work environ...

you know, i come around here to read about the warriors and share news and information (as well as speculation) about the team and players. but it's really unfortunate that people feel the need to insult one another here (not everyone), and the threads turn into this pointless name calling. and othe...

i don't think crawford can be traded unless it's in a one for one trade. at least not right away. might be like a 30 day period to wait.

...he's started Biedrins (6'11") since he's been the Ws coach. ...they traded for the rights to BWright (6'9") after the '07 draft. ...they drafted Randolph (6'10") in '08. ...the Ws big free agent signing in '08 was Turiaf (6'10"). ...a rather spare Rob Kurz (6'9") got off...

Here's one that works (on paper at least). For me, this would be like a dream trade. Warriors get: Carlos Boozer Andrei Kirelenko Jazz get: Monta Ellis Corey Maggette Stephen Jackson Jermareo Davidson the logic.....boozer just decided not to opt-out so the jazz will definitely be looking to move hi...

again, just hearsay (from bucher who is at least more reliable than TK), but posted on his twitter page about a half hour ago.... "Hard to read: 1 Suns source says it'll happen. Another says prob not. Nelly is crowing he's getting Amare. 2nd Ws source not sure." so as usual, nobody knows! ...

What the Knicks still don't get is that they have a better chance of luring LeBron if they keep players like David Lee. LeBron will ask for some help to win, he won't join a team with a weak roster just because they can offer him max money. He'll do it to win. And you can't win much without the rig...

deal seems to be dead according to various sources.

still it made for 39 pages of posts in less than one week. that should speak volumes to the front office about change (and the need for it).
