People ought to recognize the signs of a team in chaos by now and quit blaming the individuals, one by one, for not sucking it up and keeping their mouths shut, and blame the management -- Cohan, Rowell, Nelson -- who've lost control of the ship. I'm still seeing arguments insisting everybody who's ...

Joe Smith was second, I think, behind D. Stoudamire -- ahead of Vince Carter. But Nelson seldom plays rookies, so they're almost never in the conversation when he's the coach.

Also, Mullin was trying to give the Warriors something in the way of personnel other than tons of 2/3 'tweeners who can't pass and aren't great defenders. Of course, Nelson put a stop to that kind if silliness by helping shove Mullin out of the driver's seat and sliding in his own man, and now we've...

The difference is, people that rebound like Blair in college tend to rebound well at the pro level. He'll be a solid inside player in the pros. I'd be very happy to see the Warriors pick him up, but he's probably not Nelson's type.

How's Artest overrated? Only the fact that he's crazy keeps him from being a perpetual all-star.

I'm not sure the West was crazy good -- I think it's more correct to say that the conference with an eight-games-under-.500 team making the playoffs was crazy bad.

(Although that team represented pretty well in the against the Celtics!)

B. Fitzgerald referred to Jackson as "Nelson's security blanket", which I thought was one of his more astute comments. He doesn't just overplay Jack, though, IMO he overplays most of his starters, at least the veterans. It was a big issue for me and others last year, when we totally faded ...

Actually, according to Marcus Thompson, Jackson himself complained that Nelson should have taken him out last night and didn't. What a weird team. Earlier this season, Nelson said he couldn't take Jackson out (when he had hand problems and wasn't playing well) because it was "his decision"...

it's time to stop this whole in/out of the nelson dog house thing. it's slowly tearing this team apart. I was just thinking about this today, in regards to Marcus Williams. Talk about turning something into nothing! We don't use him, we don't trade him, he's basically a practice dummy. I'll never u...

I don't EVER want to see Kosta Koufos do that. Or anything close.

I don't think Oden's looking all that great, but it's early. Still, the which-to-pick between him and Durant ain't looking real close at the moment, is it? Anyyway, it would be interesting to be able to take Thabeet just as an experiment -- if I were GM of a playoff team, I might trade up to get him...

I would frickin' love to see Turiaf playing regularly at the 4. Love it. It would go a long way to solving many complaints I've had with this team.

I asked this on another board: Why do people automatically become a**holes as soon as they're off the team? And if they express any dislike of Nelson and his system? Just for the sake of argument, if you scream like someone stomped your kitten every time anyone suggests Nelson might be a problem, ho...

Why do we only ever play small-ball as our alternative to "ordinary" line-ups (which are also small)? We seldom have two big guys on the floor together, we NEVER have three big guys on the floor together. Why not try to make some interesting match-ups that way? When Wright comes back, why ...
