I think 14 and 5 sounds about right. I think the huge numbers are a bit of fluke, but he definitely can play. Once Amare and Melo are back and teams have a better scouting report on him his numbers will go down. Still an amazing story. Definitely could use him and Lee running the pick-and-roll off ...

I'm still not sold on Lin. I have to watch some Knicks games first, before I pass any judgment. But Lin was never a fast guy, nor a strong one, he wasn't really good at driving to the basket, his court vision was ok at best...I can't see how all of a sudden when he goes to the East Coast team, New ...

Fact remains that we have no idea how good Ellison would be as an owner. It is his competitiveness and success in other areas that lead us to speculate he will be a good owner.... But what type of owner will he be? Will his gigantic ego make him like a Jerry Jones or Dan Snyder and he wont let actu...

i'm happy with the pick, and quite frankly am shocked by those who don't. what do we all know that this team royally sucks at above everything else? Defense. well this kid brings it on that end, and adds rebounding to the mix. we already have enough scorers on the team, so what's not to like? even m...

not to pile onto the last two posts, but Cole would be an AWFUL #6 pick. Bada is spot on, Cole declined throughout the year. And Beast's absolutely right... would you really take Varestink with the #6 pick? Of course not, so why would you take a similar "talent" here? On the other hand, Mo...

in an earlier post, i posted "just say no to cole"... im gonna take that back... after talking with some friends and watching some game footage, the idea of drafting cole aldrich is growing on me... im becoming pro-cole... strong defender, good perimeter game for a center, good passer, he...

I guess we make a play for Jefferson now?

if we're going after Jefferson, I'd rather just take Monroe

Totally agree about proven talent with experience over youth and potential. Youth doesn't win you anything, just gets you excited about what could be and it almost always never results. Look at the championship teams over the last twenty years or so, all have had talent, but most of all experience ...

Alvin, is a rare coach that has made mistakes, and has actually applied his knowledge to bring new insight as a coach (professional babysitter) ... just like Phillip or well regarded Pops. We just don't have a superstar at the forward position (no Gasoft, no Duncan, no Melo, no Durant, no KG, no Ra...
