Man, Ezeli really impressed me last night. Great defense, great job on the glass, moved well. Could not ask for anything more of a rookie going up against two of the better bigs in the division. I was really happy when we picked him, but I didn't expect him to be able to contribute so early on. I re...

Hm, apparently I'm the only cynic here. Not a fan of the Landry signing, as it drastically reduces our odds of bringing back McGuire. Landry has some skill on offense, but I don't think that's what we need right now. We need rebounding, post defense, and perimeter defense. Landry provides none of th...

I don't now . Currys health will be a big issue here. Don't forget, the Warriors refused to make an offer to Curry exactly for the same reason. I think that he is one injure away from leaving this team at the end of this year. If Curry gets injured, then Jack will start. But going into the season, ...

Not a big fan of Landry. He's a bad rebounder, and a mediocre defender. I wouldn't be completely opposed if we could retain McGuire and Rush and still have room for Landry, but I don't think that's a possibility. McGuire should be a priority over Landry.

Way too early to give up on Tyler IMO. We knew from the moment we drafted him that he would be a long term project. He's very raw, but he has all the potential in the world, and he's shown some flashes of that potential. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get many minutes this season, but I hope ...

He's listed at F on the summer league roster. Not sure how much that means... Ezeli is the only listed C, and Klay is also listed at F rather than G, so I'm not sure just how credible that roster actually is.

I'd like to pick up Machado, but it doesn't sound like we're one of the teams that has been courting him. Also I'm starting to feel like we're okay at PG going into the season. I only want another PG as a contingency in case Curry gets another injury, but we could just as easily pick up someone duri...

David Thorpe loves Barnes: check out the podcast toward the bottom left on ESPN (starts around 8:00 in). "Paul Pierce type player ... better body ... understanding of how to use his size to get shots off ... stud forward ... great all-star potential" Also touted Barnes's footwork though, w...

Good analysis 32. Out of curiosity, who could we have picked at #7 and #30 that would have been worth an "A" in your book? From where I'm standing, anyone else would've been either less valuable as a prospect, or less valuable as a team need (or perhaps even both). I honestly can't imagine...

The thing about trading Barnes is, from the second he first steps on an NBA court, his trade value plummets. Even if he plays well, he's worth less. As an unknown commodity at the NBA level, teams will be more likely to pay more for him. It's like with collectable items, the second you take somethin...

I agree keeping McGuire should be a priority. Apart from Bogut, our starting line-up does not look particularly imposing on the defensive end. McGuire off the bench would be a HUGE asset for us in situations where we can't afford to give up an easy shot. I can't imagine it'd be too hard to find a de...

Drummond will be gone in the top 5. If Cleveland doesn't take him, Sacramento FOR SURE will. Ditto for Portland. Well then that leaves us with either Beal or MKG. I don't see Robinson dropping below 4. It seems Barnes is pretty much guaranteed top 5 as well, especially after the combine. I would be...

There have been many reports/rumors that suggest Portland is strongly considering Lillard at #6. If they do go that way, we may land Drummond...

I think if Beal's available, we have to take him, since that probably means the best remaining players available are Lillard and PJ (unless someone above us reaches for one of those guys, and someone like Barnes/Sully/Drummond is still on the board). Beal is easily the superior talent compared to Li...

The Golden State Warriors, Toronto Raptors, Brooklyn Nets and Orlando Magic are among the teams who would attempt to trade for Gay, according to sources close to the situation. Just to verify that with a quote. ( Link to article ) And yeah, I 100% agree with you guys. Bringing in Gay would be incre...
