As long as cohan doesn't influence player decisions made by the other front office people, thats all i ask. He is a terrible owner still, but he is seemingly learning one thing over the 13 mainly bad seasons. Don't interfere with player/personel decisions unless it is to sign a paycheck. with dre an...

Right now if the deal happens we lost a "shoot first" point guard that is a clutch player with a bad knee and gained an inside post presence with a repaired achilles. I would rather take a chance with the guy with the repaired achilles.

that is a good point.. They waited for a year after baron was traded and picked up chris paul in the draft (of which they are working out the contract for).. But that is attributed to good scouting partly and a bit of luck.

If he wants to go back to the clips, why not sign and trade for Elton Brand? Or will that not work?

See.. Upside and potential are taboo words in the NBA. It is a HUGE gamble when you take somebody on the hopes that he will turn out into a contributor. Perhaps he will turn into a star, but he might turn into another bust. What other picks have been about potential with the warriors? Dunmurphy? Ike...

With Sam Vincent fired recently as HC of the Bobcats, this might be a better fit for Brown. This is in addition to rumors that Johnny Dawkins will be the next HC for Stanford.

So no, brown most likely will not be a candidate for our next HC.
