Al can't increase his rebounding with Ellis on the floor. The W's can't have a rebounding PF with Ellis in the game. Since Ellis' only tallent is driving to the hoop, both forwards and the other guard have to be 3pt shooters and play at the 3pt line to keep the middle open. No one can rebound well f...

As an Azubuike Fan I was really hoping that the W's wouldn't match. He would have been a 20/5 guy starting at SG with Baron. :banghead:

Azubuike came in at the midway point season before last and impressed so much that he was a starter in his second game, without ever having been to a practice. Had a 28 point game against the clippers his first season and averaged around 50% from 3pt range right up until the end of the season when a...

Here are some observations from Adam Lauridsen: The Webber / Pietrus Defensive Disaster - Individually, Webber and Pietrus both had excellent defensive games against the Celtics. The defensive problems arise, however, when they’re forced to play in the Warriors’ “motion” defense, quickly switching f...

It looks like Cleveland got Ben Wallace and Joe Smith from Chicago and Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West from Seattle!! Maybe the warriors were a player in this trade and then got replaced by someone with a better offer. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2008/02/21/sports/s132221S19.DTL

But if he shoots the lights out, poor defense doesn't seem to matter as much. The problem is that his very best season overseas he shot 37.5% from 3pt range ... the rest of his seasons were worse than that. I really don't get where everyone got this idea that he was a great shooter. I don't conside...

The Warriors are so good that 4 starters and our BACKUP POINTGUARD made the ballot!!!! I've been writing in Azubuike as a west guard instead of voting for our sixth man.

Then half of the players in the nba at least are over paid  Exactly. And the other half are the players signed to have a full roster. I'd say 80% of the starters in the league are overpaid. But looking at it objectively, compared to most other players, JRich is not overpaid Oh really... Azubu...

Kelenna Azubuike isn't giving up his starting spot. He was the MVP of the two-game set with the Lakers, averaging 24.5 points and seven rebounds while shooting 53 percent from the field and 71 percent from long distance. The former D-Leaguer repeatedly took the ball strong to the basket and twice s...

He does have to attend, but they may be able to postpone for extenuating circumstances, too. I agree with Pest he will walk. Someone drove a truck at him and he fired a shot in the air as a warning. We live in a gun happy country, anyway. On the other hand, it is in Indy, and maybe the judge is a P...

Azu has shown what he has in limited minutes and has a long way to go before he can be considered a starter. I'd like to see him handle the pressure of playing over 30mins a game, I don't think he would fair that well. Azubuike has already been a starter in 8 games and in those games has averaged 1...

I go for Baron at PG, JRich at SG, SJackson at SF, Harrington at PF and Biedrins at Center. Just because SJackson would likely be worse than Harrington at PF otherwise he would go PF and Ellis SG with JRich at SF I don't think either of those lineups are capable of winning 50% of their games. I jus...
