I note that the poll was "Can" the Warriors win, not "Will" they. So I said yes. That hinges on either BD or Monta playing...if they aren't, well, it's going to take a special effort from somebody. We don't have an answer for KG. Let's just hope the W's come out blazing & don...

Patently ridiculous. Without BD, this team is hanging out with the Grizzlies & the Celtics in the sewers of the NBA. Have a little class and cut the dude a break. He plays with passion. Quitters don't do that. Without JR, this team needed a vocal leader. BD stepped up. Big time. He came into cam...

I had a bad feeling about last night. I have a good one about tonight. I think the W's get fired up and run the Hawks out of the gym in the first half, end up winning by 8.

...of course, they could lose by 25 too. I just don't think they will.

He broke his hand around New Year's. Odds are he's out till at least mid February. For the record: he'll have a terrible first game, a rusty second game, and after that, slowly return to form. With Monta and Harrington as subs, there's no reason for Nelly to rush him in. He just needs some run. Also...

I'm not usually a fan of this sort of thing, but the Warriors need some friggin' attitude right now. I hope this stirs the muck. I mean, losing by almost 30 to a decent team without their best player is, well, embarrassing. Plus, remember the teams BD was on before. Since college he's been labeled a...

Let's look at the West. Our first 6 teams are, at worst, 6 wins better than the Warriors. And I'm going to go out on a very tiny limb and assume Denver holds on to the 7th seed. Which leads us with: -The Clippers (currently the 8th seed) at 22-22 -The Wolves (recently the 8th seed) at 21-22 -The War...

Uptempo: I agree. Losing Ike hurts, but this is a GREAT trade. Same sort of move wherein we got BD. Lose a little, gain a lot. We'll be better for it.

Ok, couple thoughts: W's losses: -Mike Dunleavy: Overpaid, mediocre, needs a shot elsewhere & needed to be traded. Hooray for us. Hooray for him. Cavaet emptor to the Pacers -Troy Murphy: Just playing terribly. Doesn't fit in our system. Just getting worse. Overpaid, mediocre, needs a shot elsew...

Imagine a world without Mike Dunleavy. And Troy Murphy. Yes. That world it a reality. To wit (from ESPN): The Golden State Warriors have agreed to trade Troy Murphy, Mike Dunleavy, Ike Diogu and Keith McLeod to the Indiana Pacers for Al Harrington, Stephen Jackson, Sarunas Jasikevicius and Josh Powe...

Not only will the Warriors win, but Murphy will suck so bad that he won't start until February. Warriors by 10. Biedrins & Gasol go at it, Diogu gets a litte run (hell, he's rested  ) and BD returns to form.

Look: Dunleavy is worth maybe two mil a year as a 20 minute a game bench player. Problem is he's getting 9 a year and way more time than he deserves. And, honestly, every time I'm at a game I can literally FEEL the energy in the arena die out when Mike's subbed in. Fair or unfair, it's true. He's a ...

I know they just got walloped, but this is a game the Warriors have to (and will) win. I say by 8. Somehow, the Hornets are more banged up than our Warriors. Problem for them is, we still have our best player.

Must win, will win. By, say, 15. Or 90. Either one. Should win their next few games, lookin at the schedule, honestly. @ Sacto, @ New Orleans (with about 50% of their team injured), then @ Memphis, who, last I checked sucked horrifically, then home vs. Seattle. Need to win 4 of these, I think. Tonig...

No T-Mac, no problem.

Well, not quite.

But Warriors by 5. And Biedrins makes one fiersome block on Yao at some point and I get really excited about it.
